Allison was our beautiful firstborn daughter. Allison enjoyed music, was an avid reader and excelled at school. She was a catcher for her softball team, the Pink Ladies. She was diagnosed with DIPG in March 2010. She bravely battled for 18 months and passed away in September 2011, at age 11. Despite many challenges during and after treatment, she never stopped living, and inspired so many people during that time. She was loved dearly by her brother Travis, her family and her best friends - who we affectionately called "the pod" - and we miss her amazing smile and infectious laugh every day.
