Story

Luke was a happy, beautiful baby that was diagnosed at age 1 1/2 with Medulloblastoma. He went through multiple surgeries, many months of chemotherapy and radiation. In March 2007 Luke relapsed in his spine and went paralyzed from the waist down with little hope that he would ever walk again. He went through a second round of radiation and had a stem cell transplant in August 2007. He miraculously walked again in October 2007! On January 2, 2008 we found out that he had relapsed again, this time it was spread throughout his brain and spine and his body was unable to handle anymore treatment. He passed away in January of 2008. He was an inspiration and a blessing in our lives and we love him and miss him dearly. We have set up The Angel Walk in his honor to raise awareness about Medullablastoma and to find a cure for pediatric brain tumors. Read more about Luke at  www.theangelwalk.com .
