Melana was diagnosed with a DIPG in January 2009. Before Melana's illness, she was a high-spirited, energetic, sociable 9 year old little girl. She loved nature, animals, arts and crafts, soccer and swimming. During Melana's illness, she taught many lessons and brought many closer to God. God called her home to join the other little angels in October 2009.
