Sarah was a very strong, independent girl and she remained true to that during her 9 month battle with DIPG. She was diagnosed in June 2012. She completed radiation in August 2012, and then started 3rd grade. She went almost every day unless she had a clinic appointment until mid February 2013, when she was too tired to continue going to school. She passed away in March of 2013.
