"Blast Cancer Brain Tumor Walk" Aims to Raise Funds for Pediatric Brain Cancer Research
The Connecticut Chapters of The Cure Starts Now are uniting to host a Blast Cancer Brain Tumor Walk on April 30, 2022, in honor of Lea Doran, Serena Mulligan, Finley Maguire, Nina Poeta, Maven Borgen, Audrey Carpino, Avery Lafferty, and Trenton O'Brien. All of the children battled pediatric brain cancers such as DIPG (Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma) and medulloblastoma which are highly aggressive and difficult to treat.
The Blast Cancer Walk will kick off at 10:00am on April 30, 2022 at Lighthouse Park in New Haven, CT. Registration fees are $25 for adults, $20 for youth, $30 for virtual runner and children 5 and under are free. Register or donate today at csnevents.org/BlastCancerWalkCT
